Why do you want the enlarged bore style vs. the small oem?...the oem gasket hole diameter is much smaller than the TGV itself so you are very limited on matching up the ports of the outlet of the Int. Manifold going into the inlet of the TGV during porting. With our enlarged port gasket we are able to match the IM and TGV up perfectly which greatly improves air flow quality at a very important location in your intake track(right before it goes into the engine!).

Should your heart desire those last few ounces of ear-piercing goodness, our harness can also be adapted for use with a more complex relay harness. The hard to find T70 Torx bit is needed to change the transmission fluid on the 04+ WRX, 03+ Legacy, and the 03+ Foresters. For the most part you can not find this at your local hardware store as they typically only carry up to T60 sized bits. So GrimmSpeed comes to the rescue!! Inspiration for the StealthBox Intake came from internal discussions about what we wanted from an intake system for the 2015+ WRX. So, you probably already know that you want an intercooler with maximum cooling and minimum restriction, but when it comes to selecting the right 'man for the job', we think it's important to understand why. As air is pressurized by your turbo, it heats up, not because of the heat of the turbocharger, but because when they're compressed, the atoms in the air are forced closer together and as a result, move faster and have more energy. That energy manifests itself as heat. The more heat we can remove from the system, the denser the air becomes and that's what helps eliminate pre-detonation, or 'knock', allowing for increased output from your system. Your OEM TMIC does just fine at stock boost under normal use, but as soon as you start putting some real heat into it with higher boost or harder use, it heat-soaks beyond recovery.
