Features Designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. High strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties. Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to improve the support of the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing. Increased crush for improved bearing retention. Elimination of flash plating on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer through the bearing sand to maximize the grip between the bearings and its housing. The AMS VIII/IX Engine Rebuild Kits utilize the same high quality, proven components found in our short blocks. These proven combinations will withstand up to 625 whp with the Manley connecting rods and 800+whp with the upgraded rods. The Cosworth 4G63 Crankscraper is engineered to reduce parasitic drag on the crankshaft caused by oil accumulation that surrounds the crankshaft during rotation. This oil buildup causes additional drag and can reduce power output. Additionally, overall oil control is improved by keeping oil in the sump. Especially useful in high rpm and race applications.

If you are having crankcase pressure issues, the STM Dipstick Vent may be able to help. This features a -6AN fitting welded onto the dipstick for ease of venting the crankcase.
 
Venting the block is better than the head as it will allow your oil to return to the pan faster. The air that vents out of the valve cover rushes up from the block through the oil return passages causing the returning oil to slow down and sometimes push back up into the head leaving the pan dry.
The STM Oil Catch Can for Evo VIII-IX is designed to mount to your factory intake manifold and will clear the factory strut brace. Made in-house of tig welded aluminum, then poished to a mirror shine, it features a large K&N breather along with a brass drain fitting. We've included nothing but the best of hardware, fittings and lines. You'll receive four feet of lightweight, Russell ProClassic line, four Russell AN fittings and two STM valve cover fittings, along with a stainless allan head bolt and washer to fasten to your intake manifold.

MAP MIVEC Oil Feed Line for 2.4L Evo 9 Conversion MAP EVO-MOFL


This oil feed line kit (or custom machine work) is required when installing the 2.4L block into an Evolution with MIVEC. It includes an SS line, banjo fittings, and a custom adapter that can be installed without the need for machine work, please note that you will need to reuse your banjo bolts. This kit also retains the oil control of the factory line for proper MIVEC functionality.

The AMS Race Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit is the only "no compromise" way of removing the factory balance shafts. Eliminating the balance shaft not only frees up horsepower, it also reduces the chance of belt failures ending up in catastrophic damage to your motor.  In our experience, replacing the front balance shaft with a stub shaft will increase the chances of oil pump failures. This is likely caused by eliminating the support provided by the rear bearing journal. A stub shaft allows the oil pump gears to push apart and wear into the aluminum pump. Aluminum that is being worn away will enter the clean oil stream and contaminate the engine bearings.  Eventually this can result in the oil pump seizing.  The AMS shaft is machined to eliminate the counterweight while leaving the bearing journal in place to keep the factory engineered support for the oil pump gears. Cometic Head Gaskets are developed with the performance enthusiast in mind. With so many individual requirements for each motor Cometic offers a number of options to suit your specific motor and needs.

The Cometic MLS gasket is comprised of three layers of Stainless Steel. Cometic uses Stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is heat resistant to 2500C or 4820F. 

The center or shim layer of the gasket is comprised of an uncoated Stainless Steel layer, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements. The MLS gasket is ideal for both aluminum heads to cast iron blocks and aluminum heads to aluminum blocks.

The composition of MLS will also withstand the shearing forces created by aluminum heads on cast iron blocks. No re-torque is necessary. By design the MLS gasket promotes an even torque load across the sealing surface allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion.

The Cometic MLS gasket is comprised of three layers of Stainless Steel. Cometic uses Stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and corrosion resistance. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a flouroelastomer rubber based material (Viton) designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. The Viton coating is heat resistant to 2500C or 4820F. 

The center or shim layer of the gasket is comprised of an uncoated Stainless Steel layer, which can be varied to accommodate multiple thickness requirements. The MLS gasket is ideal for both aluminum heads to cast iron blocks and aluminum heads to aluminum blocks.

The composition of MLS will also withstand the shearing forces created by aluminum heads on cast iron blocks. No re-torque is necessary. By design the MLS gasket promotes an even torque load across the sealing surface allowing for measurable reduced bore distortion.

The all new STM Evo VIII-IX Intercooler is made in-house from a 900 HP-rated 3.8" Garrett core with tig-welded, aluminum end tanks and bead-rolled 2.5" or 3" pipe outlets. Pressure tested to 50 psi. This intercooler is a stock-replacement and will bolt right up to your factory couplers, or stock-location, aftermarket piping.
The STM 'BFC' Race Oil Catch Can. Yes, the Big Fu*%in Can, is now available for those who are looking for a serious race set-up. This is designed for those running front-mount turbo systems or without intakes, as the catch can mounts right behind the driver side headlight.

TM revamped our valve cover fitting to allow a true -10AN rear fitting for a serious catchcan set-up. Simply remove the hot mess you are running now and cleanly install this simple, yet brilliant, little fitting.

As the piece itself is a very tight fit, we would definitely recommend a bit of glue or epoxy to help hold it in place in the valve cover upon install.
Always looking for ways to make the engine bay cleaner, lighter and easier to work with, STM designed these little, aluminum fittings to allow you to simply install -6AN lines and fittings for a catchcan or breather right onto your valve cover.
