Features Designed to withstand higher RPM conditions. High strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties. Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings to improve the support of the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing. Increased crush for improved bearing retention. Elimination of flash plating on the back of the bearings to improve heat transfer through the bearing sand to maximize the grip between the bearings and its housing.

    The Cosworth 4G63 Crankscraper is engineered to reduce parasitic drag on the crankshaft caused by oil accumulation that surrounds the crankshaft during rotation. This oil buildup causes additional drag and can reduce power output. Additionally, overall oil control is improved by keeping oil in the sump. Especially useful in high rpm and race applications.

    We have taken the stock oil pan and built baffling into the oil pick up area of the pan. By doing this it severely decreases the oil being sloshed around in the pan and keeps the pick up tube submersed in oil.

    BR 2LR, This engine is a long rod (LR) version of the above 2 liter. The longer rod relieves some of the side loading of the piston and was developed to push the limits of the 4G63 block further with less risk of splitting a cylinder wall. Steel and optional aluminum rods are offered. RPM limits have been pushed to over 10,000 rpm with this engine. The BR 2.1, This engine is based on the 4G64 block. We have yet to see a 4G64 block split a cylinder wall and because of this we developed this engine. The engine uses a 2 liter crankshaft with a long rod like the 2LR engine but has a larger bore. This engine requires a special water pump and head gasket both of which we supply when you buy the engine from us. The 2.1 provides more low/mid range power than both the 2.0 and 2LR engines. BR 2.3,This engine uses a 4G63 block with a longer stroke. For a car that is primarily street driven there is no better choice. The recommend RPM limit is 8500. This limits the speeds that can be reached in the 1/4 mile on the stock gear ratio. 142 mph is about the max in 4th gear. There are other gearing options available. General rule of thumb is if you want to go much quicker than 9.90's this is not the engine you should chose. IF you want a FUN car to drive, do autocross or road racing this is absolutely your best choice. Available in steel rods only.

    This engine has been developed for the guy who wants it all, ME! If your goal is to run faster than 9.90's, drive your car around daily and autocross it, then this is where you should be looking. The engine uses a billet crankshaft, steel rods, special lightweight pistons along with some other "tricks" to make it live at over 8500 rpm. Except for the die hard drag racer needing to run 10,000 rpm on a daily basis, this is the ultimate engine. The BR 2.4, This engine is based on the 4G64 block. This engine requires a special water pump and head gasket both of which we supply when you buy the engine from us. The 2.4 provides great low/mid range power. The cylinder head will also need work to the combustion chamber to work correctly with this engine. This engine can only be built with steel rods. Recommended maximum RPM is 8,000. The BR 2.4LR, This engine is based on the 4G64 block. This was developed to push the RPM limits of the standard 2.4 higher. This engine requires a special water pump and head gasket both of which we supply when you buy the engine from us. The 2.4LR provides great low/mid range power. The cylinder head will also need work to the combustion chamber to work correctly with this engine. This engine can only be built with steel rods. Recommended maximum RPM is 9,000.

    If you are having crankcase pressure issues, the STM Dipstick Vent may be able to help. This features a -6AN fitting welded onto the dipstick for ease of venting the crankcase.
     
    Venting the block is better than the head as it will allow your oil to return to the pan faster. The air that vents out of the valve cover rushes up from the block through the oil return passages causing the returning oil to slow down and sometimes push back up into the head leaving the pan dry.

    If you're looking to make big power (proven over 1000+whp) but don't like the idea of lifting your cylinder head and replacing head gaskets frequently these are exactly what you need! These studs are manufactured specifically for us by A1 Technologies and utilize an H11 material that is much stronger than the typical 8740 chromoly and yields a tensile strength of 260,000 psi. They are also provisioned with a hex broach on the top of the stud enabling you to install them with the cylinder head on the car if necessary.

    The AMS Race Balance Shaft Eliminator Kit is the only "no compromise" way of removing the factory balance shafts. Eliminating the balance shaft not only frees up horsepower, it also reduces the chance of belt failures ending up in catastrophic damage to your motor.  In our experience, replacing the front balance shaft with a stub shaft will increase the chances of oil pump failures. This is likely caused by eliminating the support provided by the rear bearing journal. A stub shaft allows the oil pump gears to push apart and wear into the aluminum pump. Aluminum that is being worn away will enter the clean oil stream and contaminate the engine bearings.  Eventually this can result in the oil pump seizing.  The AMS shaft is machined to eliminate the counterweight while leaving the bearing journal in place to keep the factory engineered support for the oil pump gears.     The AMS Remote Oil Pressure Sending Unit Line allows you to safely mount your aftermarket oil pressure sending unit away from vibration. Traditionally tuners would mount their oil pressure sending units directly to the oil filter housing which provides a quick and easy mounting solution. The down fall is the excessive vibration especially at high RPM's can cause a failed or broken sensor. If the sender breaks, a rapid oil leak can quickly ruin bearings causing engine failure!
