MAP MIVEC Oil Feed Line for 2.4L Evo 9 Conversion MAP EVO-MOFL


This oil feed line kit (or custom machine work) is required when installing the 2.4L block into an Evolution with MIVEC. It includes an SS line, banjo fittings, and a custom adapter that can be installed without the need for machine work, please note that you will need to reuse your banjo bolts. This kit also retains the oil control of the factory line for proper MIVEC functionality.
The Forge oil catch can system (FMCT1EV10) for the inlet manifold side of the engine uses baffles to catch the oil mist as it goes from the cam cover to the inlet manifold, and collects the residue in a catch tank mounted low down behind the bumper. Draining is made easy by a drain bolt that can be accessed just under the front of the car, and the inlet manifold draws in 'clean' air to burn. The STM Evo X MAF Adapter Intake Flange is machined aluminum right here in Rochester, NY and a perfect fit to any 3" aluminum pipe. A must-have for your custom intake. Allen cap bolts are included.
The 4B11 motor that comes in the 2008+ EVO X and 2009+ Lancer RalliArt does not have a timing belt. It has a timing chain that turns the cams. The computer keeps track of how much the chain stretches over time. It will tell you when it is time when all the systems are working properly. If you get the triangle warning light and the car has a rough idle, it might have jumped a tooth or two. A couple more teeth jumping means that valves and pistons start crashing together. We have the NEW VERSION TIMING CHAIN to get you back on the road.
