The FA20 boxer engine inside the Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ can be said to be the successor to the EJ engine. At Tomei Powered, through our extensive testing, we've produced numerous EJ engine and exhaust parts. By applying our knowledge and experience of EJ engines to the ZN6/ZC6, we conducted even further tests to produce 2 new exhaust manifolds with different characteristics. Using this in conjunction with our new joint pipe, released at the same time, can yield even better results.

Grimmspeed has worked with endless amounts of aftermarket gaskets, none seem to work as well as the multi-layer steel gaskets. The issue with the most T4 gaskets is that even if they're multi-layer, they're not completely constructed of Stainless Steel which leads to leaks. Well Grimmspeed has your answer, a premium multi-layer stainless steel w/ stainless steel fire-ring gasket at a great price. This particular gasket is designed to fit most 2-bolt Subaru 2.5" applications. We've provided dimensions below, so that you can verify fitment prior to purchase!

Larger diameter for improved exhaust efficiency and precision clearance design The stock joint pipe is not only narrow, it also has flattened sections which severely limits the performance gains from fitting a high efficiency manifold. However, our new pipe has its sections welded together to maintain a wide Φ60.5 diameter throughout with additional weld beads on the inside for rigidity.
