Wanting to push your 4B11T to the max on the road course or make 500+whp on a Mustang Dyno? Your block will need to be sleeved in order to achieve those goals and do it safely! The engines are machined to accept our Buschur Racing ultra high strength custom pistons that we have been using since the release of the Evo X. This is not a new piston design we are praying works out, it's already proven. The rods are a custom Manley (Made in USA) rod, which have also been in use since the release of this new engine platform. The factory crankshaft is balanced along with the rest of the rotating assembly to ensure smooth high RPM operation. It is finally here.... a Buschur built bottom end so they can continue to push the limits of the 4B11T.

After much testing of the piston/rod combination in many cars across the world we are now confident enough to offer the parts for high horsepower builds in a drop in shortblock package.

MAP MIVEC Oil Feed Line for 2.4L Evo 9 Conversion MAP EVO-MOFL


This oil feed line kit (or custom machine work) is required when installing the 2.4L block into an Evolution with MIVEC. It includes an SS line, banjo fittings, and a custom adapter that can be installed without the need for machine work, please note that you will need to reuse your banjo bolts. This kit also retains the oil control of the factory line for proper MIVEC functionality.
The AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X / Ralliart Sleeved Cylinder Block is the perfect foundation for your high horsepower 4B11 build! Our kit uses ARP Studs, ARP uses a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to "aircraft" quality. Then, each stud is heat-treated to 190,000 psi. Every ARP stud kit exceeds the most stringent aerospace specifications. All kits come complete with hardened parallel-ground washers and aerospace quality nuts.

It is highly recommended that the block be align honed with the new studs to verify that the main journals do not move at all.

The new Turbo Tuff crank features uniquely designed, ultra-lightweight, fully contoured counterweights resulting in reduced windage and maximum performance.

The Forge oil catch can system (FMCT1EV10) for the inlet manifold side of the engine uses baffles to catch the oil mist as it goes from the cam cover to the inlet manifold, and collects the residue in a catch tank mounted low down behind the bumper. Draining is made easy by a drain bolt that can be accessed just under the front of the car, and the inlet manifold draws in 'clean' air to burn. The Forge oil catch can system (FMCT1EV10) for the inlet manifold side of the engine uses baffles to catch the oil mist as it goes from the cam cover to the inlet manifold, and collects the residue in a catch tank mounted low down behind the bumper. The AMS Remote Oil Pressure Sending Unit Line allows you to safely mount your aftermarket oil pressure sending unit away from vibration. Traditionally tuners would mount their oil pressure sending units directly to the oil filter housing which provides a quick and easy mounting solution. The down fall is the excessive vibration especially at high RPM's can cause a failed or broken sensor. If the sender breaks, a rapid oil leak can quickly ruin bearings causing engine failure!

The STM Evo X MAF Adapter Intake Flange is machined aluminum right here in Rochester, NY and a perfect fit to any 3" aluminum pipe. A must-have for your custom intake. Allen cap bolts are included.
The 4B11 motor that comes in the 2008+ EVO X and 2009+ Lancer RalliArt does not have a timing belt. It has a timing chain that turns the cams. The computer keeps track of how much the chain stretches over time. It will tell you when it is time when all the systems are working properly. If you get the triangle warning light and the car has a rough idle, it might have jumped a tooth or two. A couple more teeth jumping means that valves and pistons start crashing together. We have the NEW VERSION TIMING CHAIN to get you back on the road.
